Acala is a decentralized finance network that includes a Polkadot-secured blockchain platform and a suite of cross-chain financial applications that allow users to trade on Acala Swap. The network is scalable, Ethereum-compatible, and DeFi-optimized. Ethereum, Bitcoin, and other networks will be connected to the network.The decentralized network is totally regulated by Acala Token (ACA), which also serves as the network's utility token. To pay for gas and execute smart contracts, users will need ACA tokens. Additionally, holders of ACA tokens can suggest council members and vote on the network.At the launch of the mainnet, the complete supply of ACA tokens will be created and placed in the ACA Reserve Pool, with the remainder being allocated to the ACALA Foundation, Seed Investment partners, and IPO participants as a reward, and the rest being sold to the general public.
