A Vietnamese team created Axie Infinity, a blockchain-based game. It was influenced by the Pokemon and Tamagotchi games.Players may acquire, breed, grow, combat, and trade token-based creatures known as Axies in Axie Infinity. Axies come in a variety of shapes and sizes, with over 500 distinct body parts to choose from, including aquatic, beast, bird, bug, plant, and reptile parts. To help manage the number of Axies, each Axie may only be bred seven times, unlike some other blockchain-based combat and breeding games.Axie Infinity Shards (AXS) are the unique governance token for the Axie Infinity ecosystem. These will offer holders a say in how resources in the Axie Community Treasury are used and will be utilized to participate in critical governance decisions.
