Merit Circle is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) dedicated to the growth of the play-to-earn economy. The goal of the project is to usher in a new era of gaming in which players can make a profit while playing games they enjoy rather than treating them as a leisure.The Merit Circle DAO's governance token is MC. Holders of MC tokens (staked tokens) have the ability to vote on network governance decisions. Each MC token represents a portion of the treasury of the MainDAO. Users can obtain exposure to many gaming NFTs across several subDAOs by purchasing MC tokens, which will operate as an index for the play-to-earn industry. MC token holders are also able to access the NFTs from the Merit Circle and its platform partners.
