OVR is a blockchain-based platform for geolocalized AR and VR experiences. OVR enables the hosting and visualization of geo-located AR and VR content on mobile devices. Thanks to NFTs, AR/VR assets can be linked to particular locations. Gaming, live events, virtual retail, avatars, tourism, and many other?use cases are covered. The OVR project also incorporates an ERC-20 fungible token, the OVR Token, which is utilized for governance and value exchange on the network. Under the Aragon platform, OVR Token emission is managed by an IBCO controlled by DAO. The OVROwner can earn OVR tokens by integrating sponsored material proposed by advertisers into the augmented reality experience, which is based on the publisher/advertiser principle.
